The main aim of the project was to foster energy access for underprivileged households in Nyangweta village located in Kisii, Kenya. We sensitized over 500 residents on the communal benefits of energy access, installed 30 solar home systems, and trained 15 youths on the maintenance of the solar home systems.
38 teenage mothers were trained on sexual reproductive health and life skills that would enable them to make responsible life decisions. The teen mothers were commissioned as Ambassadors of Change (AOC) in the community.
