Energy Access
Access to clean and modern energy is essential for improved standard of living in society. It is a key enabler for socio-economic transformation in communities. At Tubariki, we aspire to promote eradication of energy poverty through sensitization on the benefits of energy access, deployment of sustainable & affordable renewable energy technologies suitable for rural electrification, fostering efficient energy use practices and enhancing productive use of energy among communities.
Access to Quality Education
One of the greatest investments for communities is the commitment to advance quality education in all institutions of learning. The secure future of society lies in the efforts dedicated to education. Education is a door-opener for opportunities and is imperative when it comes to improving the standards of living. At Tubariki, we aspire to spearhead impact on all the components of the education system with a special focus on creating an enabling infrastructural environment aimed at improving the learning outcomes. We plan to establish innovation academies, research centres & libraries in marginalized areas and to set up a scholarship fund that will support needy students. Developing e-learning centres in rural communities will provide learners with cost-effective technological learning environment that promotes access to technology and innovation.

Gender Equality (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion)
Social inclusion is at the heart of our activities at Tubariki Foundation Africa. We are firm believers of the mantra, “Our diversity is our strength” . Appreciating our differences in ideas, perspectives, values and culture will allow everyone to thrive. At Tubariki, we believe that each person matters, irrespective of their gender, social status, political orientation, economic status and educational background. Each person has a right to contribute to the wellbeing of the community and this necessitates equal access to opportunities and resources.
We hope to enhance youth empowerment through skills & knowledge development, link community members to opportunities, implement gender responsive programs, advocate against gender-based discrimination and challenge societal stereotypes. Furthermore, to help bridge the gender equality gap in STEM, we will leverage the power of mentorship and coaching.
Environmental Conservation
Our goal for environmental sustainability is to ensure that we protect our biodiversity and ecosystems. For societies to have improved quality of life, they need to prioritize the importance of a healthy environment. We aim to participate in efforts aimed at controlling environmental degradation and reducing the risk of climate change. In addition, Tubariki commits to integrating responses to climate change to the community sustainable development efforts. Moreover, we purpose to create awareness on current environmental issues and to collaboratively come up with solutions to solve them. Our holistic approach to environmental sustainability will ensure that we make the world a better place for future generations. We look forward to partnerships aimed at developing e-mobility programs/solutions focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions hence improving the quality of life.
Climate-Resilient Agriculture
The agricultural sector is a key sector of the economy and plays a significant role in the overall wellbeing of society. Food security promotes economic growth and reduces poverty as it improves productivity in communities. The impact of climate change on various agricultural practices cannot be underestimated. Tubariki plans to support the uptake of sustainable agricultural practices, adoption of agricultural diversification and enhancement of entrepreneurial capabilities for farmers. We seek to address food insecurity through the development and implementation of food assistance programs and food banks.
Poverty Alleviation
Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No poverty) underpins all the activities that Tubariki Foundation Africa will carry out in the communities. By supporting those living in vulnerable situations, we will foster social inclusion and ensure that our programs aim at the reduction of extreme poverty. Through our projects, we will empower people living in poverty to be self-reliant by raising awareness of economic and social issues related to poverty and involving them in the development and implementation of poverty reduction plans & programs. Moreover, we will raise and mobilize resources to support community-led projects & measures aimed at improving the standards of living of the poor and disadvantaged in society.
